ST. BERNARD PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

The St. Bernard Parish Council added another pull to the tug of war over power Wednesday night.

Late this evening, the council passed a petition to end the declaration of emergency hastily called by Parish President Dave Peralta, and they overrode his veto of a newly passed ordinance that bars the parish's outside technology contractor from entering the parish government building.

It is all part of an ongoing fight between the council and Peralta over technology services.
