NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - When drafted two years ago out of Arkansas Pine Bluff, no one would have guessed Terron Armstead would play such a vital role for the black and gold.
At number ten is left tackle Terron Armstead.
Perhaps the best thing to come out of an otherwise disappointing season last year was the Saints' resurgence in the running game. Armstead was a big reason.
His athleticism and strength helped fuel Mark Ingram to his best season in 2014.
In his pass protection, Armstead was very raw as a rookie in 2013. He improved dramatically in that area in 2014.
The Saints are banking that the arrow is still pointing up for year number three for the man that protects the blind-side of Drew Brees.
