Ranking the Saints: #13 Jahri Evans

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The next player on our “Ranking the Saints” countdown has been a monster along the interior line. Since he arrived in the Crescent City, Jahri Evans has been a crucial part of the Saints’ overall offensive success.

Coming in at No. 13 is another 2006 draftee - guard Jahri Evans..

Evans has been a perennial pro bowler and all-pro since he's been in New Orleans. However, 2014 was not his best season as Evans battled injuries all year.

In the offseason, speculation swirled that Evans may be gone, but he ultimately he signed an extension.

In 2015, he'll be back at his familiar right guard spot protecting the interior of the offensive line - an area so crucial for Drew Brees.

At 32-years-old, Evans is one of the most seasoned veterans on the team. They'll need that veteran experience. They'll also need him to return to the form they know he can be.
