COVINGTON, LA (WVUE) -

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's detectives are looking for a man who attempted to rob a woman while she was using a Covington-area ATM Wednesday night.

The woman was making a deposit at a drive-up ATM outside a bank on Louisiana Highway 21 when a man approached her vehicle from the rear and positioned himself between the open driver's side window and the ATM.

The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, grabbed the victim's arm through the open window and demanded cash from her. The woman managed to speed forward in her vehicle to escape unharmed, then call 911.

The suspect fled south on foot toward the rear of an adjacent business.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old with a medium build and a medium complexion. He had shoulder-length skinny dread locks that appeared to have been dyed a light color. He wore a light-colored shirt with a black knit cap pulled over his face.

Anyone who has information about this case is asked to call Detective Matthew Vasquez at (985)726-7830.

For tight end Ben Watson it's season #15. But he admitted he didn't know if he was going to get there. " I would say that at the end of last year I was very unsure if I was going to continue playing," Watson said." I knew that if I did play there only a very small number of places that I'd consider going.  One of those teams were the saints..because it was here where Watson had the best statistical season of his career in 2015... First-round draft pick Marcus Davenport missed almost three weeks of action during Saints training camp. This weekend, Davenport was back at practice, and all signs point to the rookie playing against the Chargers this Saturday. "The assignment, he'll know. He's been practicing in the meetings. It's just making sure he's 100 percent. But I anticipate that happening this week. I anticipate him being able to work this week and get some playing time," said Sean Payton. The Un...
