Three teens shot, injured outside Kenner bar

KENNER, LA (WVUE) -

Kenner Police are investigating a shooting that left three 17-year-olds injured. The incident occurred Sunday at 7:09 a.m. outside the Black and Gold Bar & Lounge in the 1800 block of Airline Drive. 

Police say that when officers arrived on scene, they learned that the shooting stemmed from a fight between two groups of people, that took place outside the business. One of those involved in the fight went to a nearby parked vehicle where he grabbed a handgun. The suspect then began chasing and shooting towards the second group involved in the fight. 

As a result of the shooting, a male received a graze wound to the right foot, a female received a graze wound to the back of her leg and another female was shot in the buttocks. The three teens were treated and later released from LSU Interim hospital in New Orleans.

    Surveillance cameras captured someone opening fire at a gas station in Jasper. Police are looking for one of the people they said opened fire on Friday night, while the other is still in a hospital.
