CHAUVIN, LA (WVUE) - The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a Chauvin man Tuesday morning for soliciting a teen online, according to Sheriff Jerry Larpenter.
Over the weekend, TPSO patrolmen were contacted by the parents of a 16-year-old who found their son outside their home with an adult male. The parents learned that their son became involved in an inappropriate relationship with the suspect after meeting him on an Internet dating website.
The suspect, Bradley Chauvin, 39, was questioned Tuesday by detectives and admitted to meeting the teen but denied knowing his exact age.
Chauvin was arrested for one count of computer solicitation of a minor. He was jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where he awaits a bond hearing.
