NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Today didn't see as many storms and they didn't form as soon as yesterday's. The north shore stayed mostly dry while the south shore did receive some spotty cooling showers.
Coverage for the rest of this week should be in the 30-40% range, which is a little lower than the "normal" 40-50%" coverage. July is supposed to be hot with daily highs 90-95 and the rest of this week will see such heat.
Without any tropical systems coming, our only hope for heat relief are these daily storms.
