Ranking the Saints: #2 Max Unger

(WVUE) -

Max Unger comes in at the same spot as the player he was traded for: Jimmy Graham.

As a Seahawk, the eighth-year center made the Pro Bowl twice. As a Saints offensive lineman, job No. 1 is always to protect Drew Brees, but the Super Bowl winner is capable of so much more. That's why he will be the centerpiece of a new offensive identity, according to Larry Holder of NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

"An improved offensive line will absolutely help," Holder said. "Max Unger is a huge upgrade, Tim Lelito will be better than Ben Grubbs, Unger's presence will help Jahri Evans. I think the tackles are fine, and you throw in a guy like C.J. Spiller, I think that helps and Mark Ingram has really got things going."
