NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are searching for two men who robbed a Central City pharmacy and fled the scene with prescription drugs.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday at Crescent City Pharmacy, located in the 2200 block of Simon Bolivar.
Officers say that two masked men entered the store and demanded drugs at gunpoint. The suspects fled with prescription drugs taken from the safe, according to authorities.
Tuesday night's robbery marks the second time Crescent City Pharmacy has been robbed this summer. Two masked gunmen robbed the store just before midnight on June 12. The masked men jumped over the counter and demanded narcotics.The two perpetrators took an unknown amount of different narcotics and fled the location.
Nineteen cameras are in place in and around the pharmacy, according to store owners.
