Gunmen steal woman's car at gunpoint in Marigny

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A 27-year-old woman was carjacked Tuesday night in the Marigny.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Marigny and Chartres streets.

Two men approached the suspect and asked for directions to a bar, according to our partners at Nola.com/The Times Picayune. After trying to help, the victim tells the paper that a gun was held to her head.

The suspects demanded her wallet and keys, police say. The pair fled in the victim’s blue Hyundai Elantra.
