WEST SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WVUE) -

After an offseason filled with blockbuster trades and off-the-field arrests which led to high profile releases, it's fair to say everyone associated with the Saints was ready for the start of training camp 2015. That feeling was best summed up by quarterback Drew Brees " I love it. The offseason always seems to go by so fast."

Zach Strief is entering his tenth season in the league, all of which have been in black and gold "It's exciting. I think everyone has those...you get camp jitters. No matter how long you've done it you get this nervous energy leading up to it so it's good to let that go and now we are just into it."

Adding more fuel to the fire this season is the sour finish to last season where a team expected to make a Super Bowl run ended up a dismal 7-9. Brees is confident the team will not let that happen again "Everybody just needs to look in the mirror. It's about trust and accountability . Each guy has to hold themselves accountable and say ' am I the type of teammate that I would want to have. If you are not happy with that answer then you need to make some changes for yourself."

Brees even joked that after chasing around kids all offseason that training camp is really the easy part.

The Saints' first preseason game is just two weeks away, set for 6:30 PM in Baltimore on Aug. 13.
