Sheriff: Missing man known to have 'violent tendencies'

SLIDELL, LA (WVUE) -

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing 53-year-old man.

Halbert James Williams, 53, was last seen walking in the area of Highway 190 and Westminster Drive in Slidell on Wednesday at about 8:30 a.m. 

Williams is about 5’7” and 189 pounds. He has short salt-and-pepper hair and is unshaven.  He is missing both of his front top teeth and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office cautions that Williams has substance abuse issues and "violent tendencies."
