NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Brandin Cooks was really hitting his stride with the Saints last season --  until ten games into his rookie season when the talented receiver broke his wrist on a punt return against Cincinnati.

Now fully healed, Cooks has put the injury behind him.

"It's life," Cooks said. "I've been through trials my whole life, had to get over it and now I'm back at it. I'm not thinking of last year anymore; I'm thinking of what I can do this year."

In 2015, expectations are high for Cooks after the departures of Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills, a challenge the second-year wideout is embracing. "As a player you have to be confident," he said. "You have to be more and more confident because it gets harder. I'm definitely more confident than what I was last year."

Cooks stated that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is the player he most wants to emulate and he thinks that, like Brown, he too can be a number one weapon in an offense. "No doubt about it. That's why I work so hard throughout the off season and that's what I'm focused on to help my team and ultimately be a dominant player like that," Cooks said. "I definitely feel like I can do that."

Alvin Kamara did it all last season for Sean Payton's offense, and that's why he's No. 2 on our ranking the Saints countdown. Kamara burst onto the scene, mesmerized saints fans, and the entire NFL with his unique running style. His stat line, amazing: 728 yards rushing, averaged over six yards per carry, with  eight touchdowns. He also added 81 catches with five touchdowns. All the while playing just 45 percent of the Saints offensive snaps. Kamara ran away with the NFL's Off...more>>
