LAROSE, LA (WVUE) -

A man with four outstanding warrants used his shirt to light a small fire under a residential trailer in Larose, Lafourche Parish deputies say.

Dexter Owenby was arrested Saturday morning in the 200 block of West 15th Street in Larose. Officers say he had started a small fire under a residential trailer using a shirt he had been seen wearing previously that day. The trailer was the residence of one of Owensby's acquaintances.

He was charged with aggravated arson of an inhabited dwelling. Officers say he had four warrants for contempt of court prior to the incident.

He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.
