NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After a couple of nice days with less humidity, we are back to reality for early August as the Bermuda high in the Atlantic pushes west and increases our low level warm, moist air from the Gulf.
Highs will be in the mid 90s with best rain chances from the coast to the south shore.
Wednesday and Thursday, more low level moisture pushes in with rain coverage in the 40-50 percent range.
There are signs at the end of the week and weekend that the hot dry upper high will start moving back over the area. We will continue to sweat it out through the end of the week.
