JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

Temporary repairs on a broken sewerage line have been completed, according to Jefferson Parish Councilman Paul Johnston.

Citrus Road will be open before morning, and crews are installing safety barricades around the work area.

The repair will be completed once the parish receives a part that has to be fabricated. Johnston said the original pipe is from 1964. This should take approximately seven to 10 days.

Generes Drive on the North side of Citrus will remain closed. Citrus Road will be completely open.
