(WVUE) - Over the past 260 weeks, 260 NFL players have been arrested.
These statistics are according to journalist Mike Rosenberg, a former San Jose Mercury News reporter, who compiled the information in the wake of Aldon Smith's (49ers) fifth arrest in three years.
The Vikings lead the way with 18 arrests in the last five years.
They're followed by the Broncos (16), Colts and Buccaneers (13 each) and the 49ers (12).
The Texans sit at the other end of the spectrum with only one arrest in the past five years, according to Rosenberg. Second-to-last are the Giants and the Chargers, each team with three arrests in the past five years.
