Magnolia Discount again targeted by armed robber

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a black male wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the Magnolia Discount Gas Station in the 3400 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

The robbery occurred Monday morning. Police say at around 2:30 a.m., the suspect entered the store, produced a pistol and demanded cash. The cashier complied and handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 20-30 years of age, 5'9" tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black cloth over his face, a black baseball cap, long-sleeve black shirt, light pants and grey and white tennis shoes.
