The LSU football program has one certain nickname that has held steady over the past 12 years, DBU. From Corey Webster (2003), Craig Steltz (2007) and Patrick Peterson (2010) to Tyrann Mathieu (2011), Morris Claiborne (2011) and Eric Reid (2012), the Tigers are known for big time playmakers in their secondary, who then become NFL standouts.

Known as Defensive Backs University, the Tigers annually boast some of the most talented and productive cornerbacks and safeties in the country. 2015 is no different with All-SEC preseason selections sophomore S Jamal Adams and junior CB Tre'Davious White leading the way.

Senior S Jalen Mills and junior S Rickey Jefferson, a St. Rose native, are also poised for big seasons, along with true freshmen CBs Donte Jackson and Xavier Lewis, both New Orleans natives, along with highly touted freshman CB Kevin Tolliver II.

Several members of DBU took over reporting duties on LSU's recent media day. Click on the video link for more.

While they certainly weren't perfect, overall the Saints had much better execution today than Thursday.  "I thought overall it was a little bit crisper today than yesterday.
