NOPD seeks suspects in N.O. East school burglary

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is asking for the public's help in locating and identifying three males wanted in connection with the burglary of a school in New Orleans East.

The incident occurred Aug. 7 at St. Mary's Academy on Chef Menteur Highway. Around 7:34 p.m., the three suspects were captured on video surveillance entering the school, where they stole two laptop computers valued at $2,000.

Detectives also want to question the suspects to determine if they're responsible for a residential burglary in the area. Seventh District Detective Donald Sharp is in charge of the investigation and can be reached at (504) 658-6070.
