NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans issues low water pressure advisories for several areas.

On August 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., people who live and work between Tchoupitoulas Street and Camp Street and on Camp Street from Amelia to Louisiana Avenue will experience low water pressure. It comes as construction company installs a new fire service.

Residents and businesses on Mithra Street between St. Bernard Avenue and Cartier Street will experience low water pressure on Tuesday, August 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews work to replace a water line.

This work is part of the $188 million Sewerage & Water Board/FEMA Funded Waterline Replacement Program.

Also apart about that waterline work are several  streets in the Uptown area. It will affect Peniston Street from St. Charles Avenue to  Camp Street and on St. Charles Avenue from Constantinople Street to Amelia Street.
