Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Reserve

LAPLACE, LA (WVUE) - A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in Reserve, according to the St. John Parish Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of River Point Drive. Police say the 19-year-old victim told deputies that he was making a pizza delivery when two male juveniles robbed him at gunpoint. The victim was not injured.

The delivery driver said that he exited his truck with an order when the two perpetrators, one in a red hooded sweatshirt and the other in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, approached him.

One perpetrator pointed a handgun at the victim and told him to drop the pizzas and to empty his wallet. After the victim complied, the two perpetrators fled on foot with the pizza and cash from the victim's wallet.
