NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a black male who is wanted in connection with the Monday evening armed robbery of an Uptown Circle K convenience store.
Around 6:42 p.m., the armed suspect entered the store in the 6000 block of Magazine Street, approached the register and demanded money and cigarettes. The store clerk complied and handed the suspect more than $60 in cash and a pack of cigarettes. The suspect then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 6'2" tall with a thin build, weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and jean shorts.
