NOPD: Man wanted for stealing car from Walmart parking lot

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are searching for a man wanted for stealing a car from a Walmart parking lot. The incident occurred Saturday around 1:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Chef Menteur Highway in Gentilly. 

Police say that the suspect took the victim's keys from the service counter, while the suspect was conducting business. The suspect found the victim's Cadillac CTS in the parking lot and drove off in the vehicle. 

The vehicle is described as a 2006 model with a license plate number of OTC372. 

Video surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect in the store. The suspect is described as a black man.
