The atmosphere is moistening up as more clouds and finally some much needed rains are moving in. The upper low to the west has brought several days of rain into southwest Louisiana.
Now the feature is drifting eastward allowing showers to develop into parts of southeast Louisiana. Rain chances will be in the 30% range over the next few days.
If clouds hang in, it may keep our temps in the upper 80's. The upper low weakens, and rain chances are slim heading into the end of the week and weekend, with only a slight increase in rain chances next week.
