THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) -

Detectives arrest a man accused of shooting at a vehicle. The Thibodaux Police Department says Dreonta Robertson opened fire in February of 2015, after seeing people he had a feud with in another car. No one was injured.

On September 4, 2015, the police department got an anonymous tip that Robertson was at a business in the 1700 block of Canal Boulevard. Police arrived and started setting up a perimeter but learned that Robertson had ran into a wooded area behind the business. He was spotted in a ditch before again running away. He was eventually apprehended in the 200 block of Sanders Street.

He was booked on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, violation of probation/parole, and contempt of court for aggravated flight from an officer. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $250,000 bond and $1,400.50 in fines and costs.
