Second stabbing reported on Bourbon Street for Labor Day weekend

Police are investigating the second stabbing to occur on Bourbon Street over Labor Day weekend.

According to NOPD, a 19-year-old male was arguing with an unknown person in the 400 block of Bourbon Street around 6 a.m. on Sept. 6 when the altercation turned physical. The 19-year-old was stabbed several times. The victim survived the attack, but his condition was not given.

No description was given for the attacker.

Just over 24 hours before, two women were attacked after rejecting a man's advances on Bourbon Street.

According to NOPD, a 30-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman were at 627 Bourbon Street, the address of Saints and Sinners restaurant, just before 2 a.m. on Sept. 5 when 24-year-old Steven Delatrt made advances on them.

The women refused Delatrt's advances and he became violent, cutting the two women with an unknown object. Police said he fled the location and an arrest warrant has been issued for him.
