23John CurtisRunning back extraordinaire Devon Benn and company ground out a tough win over previously second-ranked Landry-Walker to climb up a spot.
34Brother MartinCrusader nation took the show on the road in week one to beat Plaquemine 58-34 and will look to do the same at St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis.
45DestrehanA 33-23 win at Slidell showed the Wildcats can pick up where they left off in 2014 but Woodlawn-BR will provide a tough test after challenging a good Hahnville side in week one.
56John EhretIt shows how good the area competition is when Ehret's thrilling 29-28 win over Riverside can only move the Patriots up one spot. A win over East St. John in week two could provide another boost to their resumé.

77McDonogh 35The Roneagles showed that their roster full of NCAA recruits could get it done by staving off St. Augustine, 26-20. They'll have another litmus test before league play with a trip to Slidell High.
8NRCovingtonAnother Northshore debut in our power rankings, the Lions set the tone for the season by beating previously fifth-ranked Franklinton, 14-6.
