NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

A man was arrested Wednesday in the shooting death of his stepfather in Algiers.

Arthur “Cubby” Drummer, 29, is accused of gunning down 46-year-old Robert Mosley July 22 inside a home in the 3300 block of Seine Street.

Officers responding to a call of a man down just after 8 p.m. found Mosley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He died at the scene.

During the course of the investigation, Detective Barrett Morton learned that Drummer allegedly shot Mosley after an ongoing argument.

Drummer was arrested Wednesday at a home in the 14600 block of Emory Street in Little Woods. He was booked into Central Lock-up with one count of second-degree murder.
