NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A 34-year-old man was working inside building in the Seventh Ward when he was held up by a gunman.
The perpetrator put the gun to the victim's head and demanded his money, police say in an initial report.
The victim complied and the gunman escaped with one dollar and a power tool.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1600 block of N. Dorgenois Street.
Police only described the perpetrator as an African-American male.
No injuries were reported.
