Office of Motor Vehicles administrators met to discuss the state's ID policy after a transgender woman's attempt to get an ID stating she's female.

The OMV turned away Alex Glover during a recent attempt to replace a lost ID. Her birth certificate indicates she is male. Glover calls the situation discrimination.

According to Louisiana state policy, a person needs a note from a physician stating the individual has successfully undergone gender transition in order for a new I.D. Card to be issued.

OMV administrators say they're reviewing the offices policy. However, they're not guaranteeing any changes.
