Plumbing, construction products stolen during Gentilly break-in

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police are searching for a man caught on surveillance camera stealing plumbing and building materials from a home in Gentilly.

According to police, the man pictured above broke into a house in the 5100 block of Baccich Street on Wednesday, Sept. 16 around 1:40 p.m. Once inside, the suspect allegedly stole plumbing products, boxes of nails and copper products from inside.

The resident returned home shortly after, according to police, and found his window broken and the side door of his home unlocked. He then called police.

Once detectives began their investigation, they obtained the surveillance photograph above of the suspect entering the house.
