18-year-old injured in New Orleans East Drive-by

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

An 18-year-old man was shot in New Orleans East last night according to the New Orleans Police Department.

According to the preliminary police report, the victim was walking along the 4800 block of Raymond Joseph Drive around midnight when a grey Jeep pulled up and someone in the car opened fire on him.

He was treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound. No further details were provided.
