Man loses wallet, $800 cash during French Quarter groping

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is asking for the public's help in locating and identifying a suspect wanted for theft in the French Quarter.

The incident took place Sept. 11 at the intersection of Bourbon and Conti streets.

Police said at 1:10 a.m., the suspect, a transgender female, approached the victim and began groping him, rubbing her hands over his body. The suspect then left and got into a taxi. When the victim checked for his property, he discovered that his wallet and $800.00 in cash was missing.
