NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Today marked the first full day of Fall, but it certainly didn't feel like it.
High temps once again climbed into the upper 80s to even near 90 in a few locations. Rain will chances remain primarily along the coast, but not out of the question to see a few pass through inland over the next 2 days.
No major changes through the weekend, but tropical moisture will become abundant by Monday. Computer models have been hinting at some feature coming into the southern and eastern Gulf from the Yucatan early next week.
The Gulf looks relatively hostile during this time and any organization could be difficult. However, this disturbance will likely increase rain chances through the middle of next week. We'll keep an eye on it!
