NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parishes.
The warnings effect southwestern St. Bernard Parish and northwestern Plaquemines Parish. The warnings came in around 1:10 p.m. and are expected to last until 3 p.m.
Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing heavy rain moving across Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parishes.
The National Weather Service issued two Tornado Warnings this morning, both have expired.
Locations that may experience flash flooding include Violet and Poydras.
