HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

Houma police arrested and charged a man with burglary after lockers at Terrebonne High school were broken into.

They say it happened Sept. 25 at 11:30 p.m.

Authorities say several athletic lockers were broken into. They also say several electronics were stolen when the Terrebonne High football team played an away game.

Surveillance video showed the suspect, 18-year old Anthony Simmons of Morgan Street, entering the athletic area and staying there. Authorities say Simmons fully cooperated with the school resource officer and the stolen merchandise was recovered.

Simmons was arrested for simple burglary and transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex to be booked and jailed to await bond or court.
