Man sought in Dragon's Den booze theft

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The NOPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man wanted for stealing liquor from a Marigny bar.

The latest incident occurred on Saturday (Sept. 26) at the Dragon’s Den Bar in the 400 block of Esplanade Avenue.

At approximately 9:10 a.m., the suspect forced open the rear door to the business and removed an undetermined amount of liquor from the bar and fled the scene.  

Detectives believe that the same man burglarized the bar in July.  

Eighth District Detective Jerusha Carroll is in charge of the investigation the and can be contacted at 658-6080.  

Citizens with information that can help solve this crime are asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.  You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,500 for the information leading only to the arrest, except on homicides, where Crimestoppers will pay half of the reward upon the arrest and half on the indictment of the responsible person(s).  You do not have to give your name nor testify to receive the reward but you must contact Crimestoppers directly with your information.
