Police: Man robbed, stabbed after bringing women to hotel room

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are looking for two women who robbed and stabbed a man after he brought them back to his hotel on the edge of the French Quarter.

The 42-year-old victim invited the women back to his room in the 200 block of Poydras Street around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday. The man realized he was missing some money and approached one of the women, according to an initial police report.

Police say the woman pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the victim. He was taken to a hospital.

The women left the scene in a dark colored BMW with a Texas license plate GBV8978.
