La. State Police: Level II Endangered/Missing Child advisory issued

The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory on behalf of the Harris County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office for a 6 year old child taken by Harvey Eugene York, Jr., of Zwolle, Louisiana.

The child, Alexis “Lexi” Johnson, is a 6-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes.  She is approximately 3’7” tall and weighs 63 pounds.  Her hair is shoulder length and she wears glasses.

Harvey Eugene York, Jr., is a 40 year old white male with brown hair and green eyes.  He is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs 160 pounds.

York is not the child’s father.  York and the child were last seen on Sunday, October 11, 2015, in Houston, Texas, in York’s 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Louisiana license plate F163202.  The truck is blue with a silver stripe.  York is believed to be heading to Louisiana.

Anyone having information as to the whereabouts of Alexis “Lexi” Johnson or Harvey Eugene York, Jr., should immediately contact the Harris County (TX) Sheriff’s Office at 713-221-6000, 911 or the Louisiana State Police at 225-925-6536.
