Reports: Saints' Colston out with separated shoulder

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Saints wide receiver Marques Colston's status is up in the air. The NFL Network is reporting that Colston has a separated shoulder.

The injury was sustained in Sunday's game against the Eagles. FOX 8 reporter Sean Fazende confirmed Sunday night that Colston's arm was in a sling after the game.

According to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, Colston underwent an MRI Monday afternoon, and they're awaiting the results.

Coach Sean Payton is expected to address the media via conference call at the bottom of the hour.

The Saints will miss Colston's production, but prior to this season, he's had better days. Now in his tenth year, Colston holds franchise records for touchdowns, with 68, receptions, with 684, and yards from scrimmage with nearly 9,500-hundred yards.

This season, Colston has just 18 catches for 200 yards and no touchdowns
