Yesterday's cold front passed through the area bringing much drier air into the area.
Today we will see lots of sun and that will allow daytime temps to rise into the middle and upper 80s. This will be the case as we wrap up the week, but a stronger cold front moves through early Saturday with cooler air.
Dry air allows overnight and morning temps to drop into the low 50s (even some 40s!) on the north shore and upper 50s to lower 60s south.
Afternoons this weekend will remain in the 70s. Winds will also increase behind the weekend front.
