METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

Cell phone video shot inside a local high school has some parents very upset.

The video is of a Grace King ninth grade math teacher, and it was reportedly shot by students inside a classroom at the school.

It appears the teacher intercepted a note being passed between students in class. The teacher then reads that note aloud to students while they take video with their cell phones. The teacher, laughing at times, continues to read the note to students, even though it's very explicit and filled with profanity:

"I don't give a **** about what he say (sic) about me."

"All of the **** go to Bonnebel."

"You text him everyday to get that square ****."

FOX 8 reached out to the teacher in that video, but she had no comment.

The Jefferson Parish Public School System released a statement about the incident.

"We have reviewed the video in question and took appropriate action in accordance with the policies of the Jefferson Parish School Board."

They school system did not elaborate because its policy is not to discuss the specifics.

At this time, FOX 8 is not identifying the teacher by name.
