Louisiana is on track to see one of the driest Octobers in history.
Our weather will stay dry through most of the work week as an area of high pressure remains in control. As the high pushes east throughout the week, temps will gradually rise as we approach Wednesday. This will allow winds to shift east and southeast bringing in warmer more moist Gulf air.
High this week start out in the mid 70s and rise to the lower 80s by Friday. Lows will stay in the upper 50s to lower 60s north and 60-65 south.
Our next rain chance comes Friday.
