NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police have released a composite sketch of a man they say exposed himself to two girls Wednesday evening in the Lower Ninth Ward.  The unknown man reportedly pulled up in a car near the intersection of Alabo and Urquhart Streets where the two girls were standing.  He reportedly asked them a question, then exposed his genitals to them.

The father of one of the girls was nearby and began approaching the man in the car.  Police say that's when he sped off, heading towards St. Bernard Parish on St. Claude Avenue.  Police say the incident happened between 6 and 6:30 pm.

NOPD described the suspect as a Caucasian or Hispanic man, approximately 30 years of age with dark hair and was clean shaven.  He was wearing a white tank top and dark blue jeans.

The vehicle was described as a new white Nissan Altima or Maxima.  The vehicle was missing the rear license plate, but possibly had an Illinois license plate on the front of the vehicle.

Anyone with information that can help solve this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
