BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - After getting off to a slow start in the first half, No. 5 LSU pulled away in the second, picking up a 48-20 win over Western Kentucky Saturday night in Baton Rouge. Despite a wet and muddy field, the LSU offense compiled a total of 497 yards in the win.

Brandon Harris led the way for the Tigers (7-0), completing 11-of-20 passes for 286 yards and three  scores. Leonard Fournette recorded 150 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries. Travin Dural hauled in five passes for 132 yards and one touchdown

The Hilltoppers (6-2) were led by quarterback Brandon Doughty who tallied 325 yards and three touchdowns on 37-of-61 passing.

LSU returns to action on November 7 at No. 8 Alabama.
