Mike Yenni elected Jefferson Parish president

JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

In the race for Jefferson Parish president, Kenner Mayor Mike Yenni was victorious over Jefferson Parish Councilman-at-Large Elton Lagasse, 

Yenni, 39, is the grandson of the late Jefferson Parish President Joe Yenni and the nephew of the late Michael Yenni, who was also parish president. Yenni is in his second term as mayor of Kenner.
