NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Rough weather moving through the viewing area is prompting multiple weather advisories from the National Weather Service.
7:12 p.m. : The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for several New Orleans-area parishes and three Mississippi counties.
The watch, which is in effect until 2 a.m. Monday, affects the following parishes:
Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany and Terrebonne.
It also includes the following Mississippi counties:
Hancock, Harrison and Jackson
7:21 p.m. - National Weather Service issues tornado warning for north central Lafourche Parish and southwestern St. Charles Parish until 8 p.m.
8:44 p.m. - National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Central Lafourche Parish and East Central Terrebonne Parish until 9:15 p.m.
10:53 p.m. - Tornado watch canceled for the following four parishes: Lafourche, Terrebonne, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist.
