NOPD searches for men in connection with Algiers armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police want to find two men who they say might know something about an Algiers armed robbery.

It happened on Oct. 21 in the 3600 block of General DeGaulle Drive. According to police, the victim said he was approached by two unknown black males in the parking lot. A short time later, one of the suspects demanded his property while the other suspect pulled out a gun. Police say when the victim refused to give up his property, the gunman shot him once in the leg.

Investigators say the suspects then jumped into an early-model turquoise Chevy Tahoe and took off.

Detectives tracked down surveillance video of two individuals who might have critical information about the incident.

Police say the men shown in the surveillance pictures are not suspects, but might have information they can use in the case.
