NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Police are searching for two men who could have critical information about an unknown shooter who opened fire in the French Quarter Wednesday morning.

According to NOPD, an unknown man fired a handgun near the intersection of St. Louis and Dauphine Streets around 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 28. No one was injured in the shooting, but the bullet broke through a driver's windshield while he was parked on the street. The driver of the vehicle ducked down in his seat and did not get a good look at the shooter, but described him as a tall black male.

Police released surveillance video from the area that shows two men they believe have information on the shooting that could be key to making an arrest. The two persons of interest can be seen near the end of the video walking towards the camera.
